Five Star Racecar Bodies, Silkolene Lubricants, and AP Brakes To Sponsor Contingency Awards At The Mark III Speedfest 2006

Lakeland, FL (January 22, 2006) – Five Star Racecar Bodies, Silkolene Lubricants and AP Brakes will all sponsor Contingency Awards at the upcoming Mark III Speedfest 2006 at USA International Speedway in Lakeland, Florida next week on January 26-28, 2006. The all star late model event will be Co-sanctioned by the CRA Super Series and the FASCAR Sunbelt Series and will feature many of the top late model drivers from all over the United States and Canada. RACECAR Engineering To Sponsor Awards At Mark III Speedfest 2006

Lakeland, FL (January 18, 2006) – RACECAR Engineering will sponsor two awards at the upcoming Mark III Speedfest 2006 at USA International Speedway on January 26-28, 2006. The Lakeland, Florida based auto-racing parts company will sponsor the RACECAR Engineering Fast Qualifier Award for the North 100 Lap Qualifier and the South 100 Lap Qualifier races, which will be held on Friday night, January 27^th. Plenty of Big Names Headed To Lakeland in Late January

In years past, many racers looked toward Florida Speedweeks and the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing at New Smyrna Speedway as the opening of the racing season.  Aside from a few sparse races here and there at specific tracks across the country, Speedweeks was the “unofficial” kick off to the new racing season.

“You work on your car all winter long and you have it cleaned up so it is nice to take it out and race,” said Florida racer Mike Fritts. 

But in 2005, things got started a little earlier than normal for many of the country’s best Super Late Model Series teams.

The CRA Super Series, in conjunction with the FASCAR Sunbelt Super Late Model Series, Southern All Star Super Late Model Series and USA International Speedway brought back Speedfest.
